The WaterCampus Business Challenge 2015 has three winners: Jos van Dalfsen (WafilinSystems), Petra Ross (Arcadis NL) and Hans-Henk Wolters (Metal Membranes). Earlier this year Metal Membranes became second in the battle for the Water Alliance Innovation Stimulation Award for which it won participation in the WaterCampus Business Challenge.
The challenge ran from 2 to 6 March 2015. During this week, the 17 participants teamed up with entrepreneurs and coaches who shared their successes, failures and experiences. Networking & business models, value proposition, finance, sales and marketing strategies were among the topics discussed during the Business Challenge.
On Friday, all participants presented their business plan for a jury of investors. Wolters presented his revolutionary membrane technology for liquid and gas filtration, Van Dalfsen talked about concentrating milk and Ross about solutions for groundwater salinization.
The WaterCampus Business Challenge is a training for talented entrepreneurs to learn how to turn good innovative water technology and services into a successful international business. Together with different experts and experienced entrepreneurs, an inspiring broad high quality program is offered every year.
